The new year rings in a new session of the New Jersey Legislature to tackle the pressing issues facing the Pinelands. On March 16, 2026, we will host invited members of the Senate and General Assembly from Legislative Districts 7 and 8, and we hope you can join us.

During this informal cocktail hour, you will have a chance to get to know your elected state representatives and discuss key issues such as:

• The importance of enforcing the Wharton State Forest Visting Vehicle Use Map to enhance public safety and protect habitats of endangered species;

• The impact of the development of warehouses and energy centers on the environment and public health; and

• Ways in which our public officials can help our communities strengthen resilience against climate change.
